Fast, friendly and honest...

I have Ed Martin do all my service work on my Nissan Xterra. They are fast, friendly and honest. They go out of their way to make sure I get the best service possible. I didn’t buy my Nissan from them but will buy my next vehicle from them when the time comes.

Very friendly and professional!

The transmission went out in my 2007 Nissan Altima as soon as I got over the 100k mile mark. I called several mechanics for price quotes, including the Nissan dealership on 96th street. Not one bothered to check if my transmission was still under warranty, but they quoted me prices between $3500-$5000. I called Ed Martin Nissan and spoke with P.J., one of the managers. He was very friendly and professional. He looked up my VIN and saw that the transmission was under warranty to 120k miles. He gave me the number to a towing company and I brought the car in for a diagnostic. Two days later, I had my car back, with a new transmission installed! I could not have asked for better service. I expected a warranty repair to be pushed behind others who were paying. They were great! I highly recommend them.


I won't go anywhere else!

I bought a new Nissan Altima in 2007 and I went to several different dealerships before I finally bought my car. They not only worked with me to get the car I wanted but when one couldn’t be found, they made a great deal with me on one very similar. Three years later, there was an internal problem with my transmission and because I lived closer to Tom Wood Nissan, I took it to that service worried that I wouldn’t be able to make it to Ed Martin. That was a mistake as I later found out. My car sat on their lot for 10 weeks due to paperwork/warrenty issues on Nissan Corporate’s end while I drove their loaner. I jumped through hoops and talked to everyone at Nissan consumer affairs before calling Todd Reiselman at Ed Martin (where I bought my car) to tell him the situation. Although I bought my car from his location 3 years ago and I didn’t take it back there for this problem, he still went above and beyond his job description and made the right phone calls to expedite the paperwork. Due to unfortunately circumstances with communication at Tom Wood, I ended up having to bring my loaner back to Tom Wood before my car was finished and was left without transportation. Todd stepped in again and made phone calls to resolve the situation, he even offered to give me a loaner if Tom Wood didn’t. He has been wonderful from the process of buying my car through this whole ordeal. In his book, once a customer, always a customer. Ed Martin takes care of their consumers, I won’t go anywhere else.

The young lady helping me explained the possible outcomes and the service fees before any work was done. I was offered a ride to work if I needed it while my car was being looked at. I decided to wait. It didn’t take long at all and the check-out process was quick and easy. This was my first visit with my new (to me) Nissan and was impressed with how friendly everyone was. And with the service too!

Everyone was extraordinarily cordial and the service was excellent. The staff clearly listened to my concerns about the car, made sure I was satisfied, and even allowed me to check the undercarriage myself. I was completely satisfied, and very impressed. Plus, I received a free car wash, which is apparently standard and quite a nice touch.

A+ dealership!

They made me buying my first car as pleasant as possible. Went in and looked at my 2011 Ford Taurus and a day later I drove off with my dream car. I was skeptical at first but they beat my bank’s APR% and got me a really nice deal on a really nice car. Jay was very helpful on a busy Saturday and Mark did a fantastic job getting me a rate that was better than I expected. I will be doing business again!

I purchased my new Altima from Ed Martin Nissan and I love my car. The sales staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had the exact options and color I wanted. I just took it in for it’s first oil change and I was greeted by the sales person who sold me the car and he spent about 10 minutes with me to make sure that I was satisfied with the car. I have been buying cars for over 20 years no one has ever done that before. These people are great. Highly recommended!!


Impressed me so much...

I currently own a 2012 Nissan Maxima and wanted to take a look at the new 2016 model. I was moving from Chicago to New Orleans when the new model was released to the deals. So on my drive I stopped at Ed Martin Nissan to take a look at one. I spoke with both Eric Kittner and Allen Gooch informing them that I was moving and would not be able to purchase from their store. Therefore, I was just stopping in to see the new model in person. Even with that knowledge, they both went above and beyond to assist me by taking me for a test drive, looking at some financing packages, appraising my 2015 Maxima for a trade in value and suggesting Nissan dealers in the New Orleans area. I would like to again mention that they spent 2 hours with me knowing that I was not going to purchase from them. This impressed me so much that I will most likely drive back up to Indiana to purchase my new 2016 Maxima from Allen and Eric.

I was on the phone with a different car dealership who was trying to persuade me to buy a much older car with crazy monthly payments. During that call Jay phoned and asked me to come in. Within an half hour, I was at Ed Martin Nissan test driving a car and providing Jay with all my info. Well, the first car I test drove didn’t work out. Jay and I talked about a different car and said he’d contact me in a few days. Within 15 minutes of leaving Ed Martin, Jay phoned and asked me to come back to the dealership. I’m thinking ok, he needs me to test drive the car we talked before buying. When I arrived back to Ed Martin, I see the SUV we talked about warming up. As Jay approached me he said I was approved for the SUV. I said “No Way”!!! While test driving this 2012 Dodge Journey, Jay then tells me, “you can drive home with it tonight”. Again, I screamed “No Way”!!! Returning from the test drive, I then found out about my monthly payments. Melissa was wonderful (sorry if I didn’t get your name right)–I screamed at her as well because I couldn’t believe how affordable my payments would be. It was at that moment, I discovered I’d be an Ed Martin customer for life. This wonderful experience happened within a few hours. I never thought earlier that day while speaking to a different dealership that I’d been trying to work with for over a week, would lead me to Ed Martin Nissan, who placed me in a vehicle within hours. They really appreciate your business and work very hard in customer satisfaction. I advise everyone to go to Ed Martin!! I proudly call back the previous dealership and told them about my Ed Martin experience and the type of car I purchased, plus gave them a not so nice rating.
